JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Fog, drizzle and some rain tonight but temperatures will continue to be warmer as lows only drop into the 50s. Some of the rain will be heavy at times with as much as a quarter of an inch for Jacksonville to a half inch for parts of Southeast Georgia.  Expect wet roads for the morning commute.
Fog and low clouds plus some drizzle early Friday will gradually give way to partly cloudy skies and very mild afternoon highs well into the 70s except 60s to near 70 at the beaches.
A strong storm system will affect the area Saturday triggering afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.  There will be the potential for some heavy rain and a few strong to severe storms between noon and about 8pm.
