JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- You could soon see more food trucks in Jacksonville Beach, if the city loosens some restrictions.
On Monday, the Jacksonville Beach Planning Commission will discuss allowing food trucks to operate in more places within the city. Currently, trucks are only allowed to sell during festivals.
The proposals are good news to mobile food vendors, who say they are looking for ways to drum up more business.
"It would definitely help to have more people know about us," Johnny Hassan, owner of Cravings Mobile Kitchen said. "Especially summertime, anytime, would be great. Food at your fingertips... why not?"
The Jacksonville Beach Planning Commission meets Monday at 7 p.m.
