BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- Day 7 of the Guy Heinze Jr. trial has begun with testimony from a forensic pathologist.

Heinze, 26, is accused of killing his father, his uncle, his aunt, his cousins, and his cousin's boyfriend in August 2009. A medical examiner testified all eight victims died of blunt force trauma.

This morning, the jury heard the forensic pathologist say he believed there was more than one weapon used in the murders. He said the autopsies showed some of the victims had also been stabbed.

The defense is trying to suggest that there could have been more than one killer, and that Heinze wasn't one of them.

Heinze has pleaded not guilty to the charges. He faces the death penalty if convicted.
