JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man is dead after jumping from a moving vehicle, and investigators believe it was no accident. Action News has just learned the name of the man who died.

Florida Highway Patrol reports Lester George Garrison threw himself from a moving vehicle.

According to troopers, Garrison and three other men in the car got into a verbal altercation before he jumped from the car. The men just left a veterans cemetery in Lawtey to honor a fallen soldier who died on Veterans Day three years ago. It was a family tradition.

The men were traveling at 65 mph down U.S. 301, back to Jacksonville, at the time.

FHP says it is waiting on an autopsy to determine exactly how Garrison died.
