Former bus driver gets 20 years for attacking child
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A former JTA bus driver will spend the next 20 years in prison for attacking a child on his bus in 2010.
Sheldon Monte Ford pleaded guilty to the sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl.
He will also have to register as a sex offender when he gets out of prison.
The incident sparked a review of company policies at JTA, especially for those who have contact with the public and particularly those involving minors.
