Former officer pleads guilty to child sex charges

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A former JSO officer is now facing up to 30 years in prison.

Richard Cannon pleaded guilty to Attempted Capital Sexual Battery and Custodial Sexual Battery.

Police arrested the 25 year veteran last August. The police report accused Cannon of having inappropriate contact with two different children on multiple occasions.

Cannon will be sentenced next month.

You can bet he'll never spend a day in gen-pop (former officer & molester). Inmates would turn into dog food & it ought to be this way.
