Should call it "Appeasement" High School. Do we change all the things named after Martin Luther King just because there is no evidence that his name was ever legally changed from "Michael" King? Maybe because allegedly, he plagiarized his Ph.D. dissertation? Some people call him a fraud because of these and other allegations of womanizing, etc... Does this undo all the good that he did? I think not. I hope the people of Jacksonville vote every single school board member out next election. This is a BIG waste of taxpayers money. And for what? Political correctness? White guilt? I NEVER owned a slave! I don't know anyone else who has. And, I don't know anyone who was ever a slave. (Except to our jobs) You can change all the names you want. You can hate on MLK all you want. But, YOU CAN'T CHANGE HISTORY!!! Political correctness trumps the truth? Is this what we have become as a nation? Sad, because this was once a great country with some great leaders. Unfortunately, that was many years ago. I think Dr. King would be disappointed in todays America, as many of our other forefathers would be.

Just don't ask taxpayers to foot the bill! And I expect this school to be an 'A' school by 2015!
