Four women arrested at suspected meth lab, children in custody

Palatka, Fla. --  The Putnam County Sheriff's Office has arrested four women accused of running a meth lab. Several children were also taken into protective custody.

Deputies arrived to investigate at 550 Cedar Creek Road in Palatka after receiving a tip that methamphetamine was being manufactured there.  When they arrived, deputies say, two women, Marina Webb and Sarah Harrell, came out of a shed. Deputies say they saw Webb discard a plastic bottle. That bottle was later confirmed to be a "One Pot" methamphetamine cook. After an investigation police arrested four women, Webb, Harrell, Marisa Dawn Tompkins and Lisa Marie Conner.

Seven children were taken into custody by the Department of Children and Families. 

Harrell and Webb were decontaminated at the scene and several departments including the Putnam County Sheriff's Office Clandestine Lab Team and the Fire Department, Emergency Medical Services came into neutralize the dangerous chemicals.

All women are being held on charges of Manufacture of Drugs and Distribution of Drugs, among other charges. All are being held on more than $10,000 bond.
