Time does not heal this kind wound, but it makes it bearable. Maybe Fla governor can order flag at half mast, and read the veterans names at each memorial day holiday , so we remember the high cost of this what and what it has accomplished. 12 years of un ending war as our best give all for their country and what has it accomplished other than bankrupt us? He served with pride, and we are grateful for his service. Hope that helps the family heal some.
