JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A second cold front is headed for the First Coast Friday night. The passing front may produce a few sprinkles. Beyond that, however, is drier air.
Expect 40s for morning minimums in Jacksonville on Saturday and Sunday morning. Plenty of sun will push temperatures to seasonal levels on Saturday (mid to upper 60s).
Increasing beach breezes will elevate the surf slightly over the weekend. Those onshore winds will also have a slight cooling affect on our coastal communities. Winds will fall in the 10 to 20 mph range on Sunday. A few coastal clouds and even showers can be expected.
Northeast Florida and South Georgia overall should stay dry this weekend.
