JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- When Tommie Johnson heard Tchenter Wilson died in a car crash, he couldn't believe it. The two went to Ribault High School together and shared quite a few memories.

"I met him when he first came in the door. Great guy. He was one of the smart guys in high school," he said.

Dash cam video was taken by a semi driver Friday. He claims officer wilson was driving erractically on the wrong side of the road and almost crashed into him. When Officer Wilson did make contact-- he struck a semi head on, and died later at UF Health Jacksonville.

"Another good human being gone," Johnson continued.

Wilson was a 15 year-vet of JSO and worked as a community affairs officer. Johnson spoke to him a few months ago via Facebook and says they caught up on old times.

He says the stamp Wilson left on the community, makes his death hard to swallow.

"I had a lot of friends that have passed away, but this one kind of touched me because he was a great guy. Nothing bad you can say about him."

A Facebook page has been set up in Wilson's honor. To "like" it, click here.

Medical condition? Drunk? Suicide by Semi? Still tragic for family and friends regardless of the cause.
