JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Despite sunshine on Thursday, temperatures have been struggling. And a big drop in temps is expected after the sun sets.
Frost is more of a threat Friday morning versus Thursday morning because the winds will be closer to calm. Calm winds and near-freezing temperatures allow that thin layer of frost to form on objects.
Let's talk temperatures. Temps along the beaches will range from 38-41 degrees with patchy frost. In the Jacksonville Metro Area, temperatures will fall close to freezing...the First Alert Forecast is 33 degrees. Meanwhile, we'll see temperatures fall between 27-31 degrees inland...making frost likely.
Temperatures will rebound by Friday afternoon for a nice finish to the week. Highs will bounce back into the 60s!
