Ft. White man arrested for growing marijuana

FT. WHITE, Fla. -- A Ft. White man is now facing several charges, accused of growing marijuana out of his home.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office arrested 49-year-old Earl Raid after deputies said they found approximately 34 marijuana plants being grown in a shed on the property. After searching the home, deputies said they also found an additional 50 marijuana plants, as well as several items that would be used to grow, weigh and package marijuana.

Raid is charged with producing marijuana, posession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of more than 26 grams of marijuana. His bond is set at $19,000.
