Funeral services held for murdered teen
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Family and friends gathered Saturday to pay their final respects to one of two teens killed in Northwest Jacksonville in early August.
Mourners packed the Paxon Revival Center off of Commonwealth Avenue for 14-year-old Megan Simmons' funeral service.
Simmons and 13-year-old Jazmine Shelton were killed when bullets riddled the Missouri Avenue home they were staying in.
There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
"We just need answers. Please come forward," said Megan's grandmother, Karen Pippen.
Anyone with information about the shooting deaths is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
