PALM COAST, Fla. -- Funny money is circulating in the Flagler County area.

The sheriff's office says a clerk at a Kangaroo convenience store on State Road 100 took in what appeared to be two fake $20 bills.

Deputies tested the money which turned out to be genuine fakes. The bills had the same serial numbers, too.

A clerk at a Wendy's on Palm Coast Parkway received a suspicious $100 bill. It too came back after testing to be a fake.

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office says the FBI recently warned businesses in the area to be looking for counterfeit money.

Call 911 or the Flagler County Sheriff's Office at (386) 313-4911.
