Gabbert out for Raiders game Sunday
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville Jaguars starting quarterback Blaine Gabbert has been ruled out for Sunday's game at Oakland.
Gabbert left near the end of 28-2 loss to Kansas City in the opener with an injury to his throwing hand. The team say it was a laceration that needed 15 stitches to close. The 10th-overall pick in the 2011 draft was just 16 of 35 passing for 121 yards against the Chiefs. One of his two interceptions was run back for a touchdown by Tamba Hali.
Chad Henne finished the game for the Jags. A starter has not been named. The team travels to Oakland (0-1) Sunday. Gametime is set for 4:25 p.m. on CBS47.
