Gainesville police hunting for men in multiple armed robberies

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The University of Florida and the Gainesville Police Department are warning all in the vicinity of campus to be on the outlook for two armed men.

The search comes after two armed robberies occurred in the area of Royal Village, near SW 6th Street and Depot Avenue.

One man is described as white, with brown hair, wearing a white T-shirt, and could have on a pink backpack.

He was last seen traveling on a bike.

The other man is described as being black, wearing a white T-shirt, black pants, and could have on sunglasses.

No injuries have been reported in the robberies.
