JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has located the girl who triggered a search at a Southside shopping center Saturday evening.

Detectives say they were able to find her parents and determine the girl, between 5 and 7 years old, was with her family the entire time.

Witnesses originally reported seeing the girl unattended in a shopping cart in front of the Target on the 9000 block of Southside Boulevard Saturday.

JSO put an alert out for the concern for the child and never treated the incident as a true child abduction.

what is wrong with JSO?? It was the irresponsible guardian that took the girl in the blue SUV,,, DUHHH He came out of Sports Athority and discovered the child had climbed out of the vehicle, he saw the attention the child was getting, and fearing child protection services or cops charging him,, he took the child ....DUHHHH Also why no report from the child parents of her being missing??? BECAUSE SHE WAS NOT MISSING!!!

And why is there no mention of finding or looking for her parents inside Target? No one has reported her as missing?

What kind of a parent would leave a child unattended in a parking lot? Lord protect that little girl.
