JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A 19-year-old has pleaded not guilty in a double shooting at a Golden Corral earlier this year.
Avery Damon Wood pleaded not guilty in court today. He was arrested for two counts of felony murder and two counts of armed robbery. His next court date is scheduled for Sept. 9.
George Paul Carter, another suspect, also pleaded not guilty on Monday. His pretrial hearing is scheduled for Sept. 10.
Another suspect in the shooting, Steven Murphy Bennett, is scheduled to be in court for an arraignment hearing at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Another suspect, Jalil Graves, is due back in court Aug. 21.
Andrew and Matthew Bohannon were shot and killed at the Golden Corral on Normandy Boulevard in July.
