This flood insurance is a joke! Mine is over $2500 a year, and my property will only flood in a severe hurricane! When we bought this years ago, we were not even required to buy flood insurance. It wasn't until some fat a$$ on a computer decided that we should now be in a flood zone. What was not required went from a voluntary $125 or so a year to $2574! Folks, this is JUST FOR FLOOD. Add to that the increased Homeowners and Taxes. They are literally running the citizens out of our homes.
