JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Governor Scott will be in town Wednesday morning at the Vistakon-Johnson & Johnson Vision Care facility, to talking about his plan for pumping up manufacturing jobs in Florida.

The trip comes as Governor Scott takes on the Affordable Care Act. Some say Governor Scott is overstating the potential cost of the federal health care overhaul to Florida taxpayers.

Monday Governor Scott met with the Health and Human Services Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, where he expressed his concerns about the health care overhaul.

The Governor told Sebelius that state taxpayers will have to pay nearly $26 billion over the next ten years to implement the plan. But the state's top economist and a legislative budget analyst challenged how Governor Scott's administration reached that number. This past summer the governor was forced to backtrack after he gave incorrect figures for the overhaul.

Governor Scott will speak at 9 a.m. We will be inside and bring you the latest on Action News at noon.

well,, he can begin by employing those 6000 state workers laid off recently !!! then he can crow about all the jobs he hasn't brought to our state !!! wake up Florida,, the man is the consumate con artist,, like romney,, he outsourced all the jobs,, then cries wolf over unemployment figures in our state !!! politicians are the cause of our economic woes,, not the cure.....
