Greyhound to build new bus terminal downtown
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --The Jacksonville Transportation Authority in coordination with Greyhound is building a new bus terminal.
It'll be on JTA property near the Prime Osborn Convention Center.
The $6 million terminal will be finished in 2014.
Greyhound will pay $46,000 a year for a 40-year lease on the building.
The current Greyhound terminal will be sold.
JTA spokesperson Bill Milnes called it a "good move toward Downtown revitalization."
