JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One person is hospitalized in life threatening condition after a shooting near Raines High School.

Police say the violence started as a fight after the football game. The crowds spilled over onto Raines Vikings Way. Officers tried to break up a fight but couldn't.

Police say the victim was shot a short time later while sitting inside a parked car on the street.

The victim, 20-year-old Anthony Joshua Caesar, was not a student at Raines. He was taken to the hospital with multiple gun shot wounds.

Police searched the woods near the scene for the gunman and additional victims, but no one was found.

There is something seriously wrong if the offices truly were unable to stop the fight that "allegedly" broke out after the ball game. Wasn't there a day/time change for these school to play ball last year due to violence? This area continues to allow itself to decline and make the news reports with shooting/violence. And please refrain from the lack of jobs, and the like. Everyone~adults should have the responsibility to make better choices/decisions to better their community, there fore bettering self.
