HAZMAT teams respond to mobile home park on Westside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police and HAZMAT teams are responding to a mobile home park on the Westside.

The scene is at the Paradise Village Mobile Home Park on West Beaver Street.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the neighborhood after getting a call abou suspicious activity in the woods behind some mobile homes.

Police say they found two suspects running an active meth lab in the woods. Both were arrested.

HAZMAT teams are working to clear the area of any potential chemical hazards. Police are not saying how much meth the suspects were producing. The names of the suspects have not been released.
