JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has a new game plan for game day on Sunday.

With the Mathews Bridge out of commission, the Hart Bridge has taken up the load of cars for the past several weeks.

On Sunday, the Hart Bridge will become one way heading into downtown to help ease the crush of cars trying to get to EverBank Field.

The bridge will open at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. At 2 p.m., the bridge will go back to its normal flow of traffic.

"If you [usually] leave 45 minutes early to get in your seats then we want you to leave about an hour and a half early to get in your seats," said Assistant Chief of Special Events Leonard Propper.

JTA also plans to have 69 shuttle buses running on game day, and JSO will have 20 extra officers on the streets to man the detour routes, adding an additional cost of $4,500 to the Mathews Bridge repair bill.

You can watch the game right here on CBS47, the official Jaguars station.

It all starts with the EverBank Pregame show at 11:30 a.m.

The Jaguars kickoff against the San Diego Chargers at 1 p.m.
