JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Thunderstorms will blossom through early this evening producing heavy rain and frequent lightning as the storms move northeast at 10-15 mph mainly from about I-95 to the coast. A few storms could also produce strong winds and some hail. Most of the storms will diminish by at least midnight with very muggy overnight lows in the 70s.
The stormier pattern will become even more noticeable Thursday-Friday with sun to start each morning followed by a few midday afternoon showers and storms that will increase through the afternoon and spread to the beaches. Keep an eye to the sky for fast changing weather conditions the next few days.
