JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- A second large band of rain and a few thunderstorms will roll across metro Jacksonville and all of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia through early this evening. Another half inch to inch of rain will occur bringing totals for the day to as much as 1-2". It's the most widespread rain in more than 2 months. Expect a very slow afternoon and evening commute as roads will be slick and visibility low. The rain will end overnight followed by a mostly cloudy, cool Thursday with highs tomorrow only in the 50s and 60s. Temperatures will warm a bit Friday but then much milder air will return to the area for the weekend. Click
