JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Heavy showers will continue to stream westward off the Atlantic bringing on-&-off heavy rain through Friday but periods of clearing between showers. Temperatures will drop into the 60s inland tonight, 70s at the beaches with highs Friday in the 80s. Breezy east winds will persist, and the onshore flow will continue the moderate to high rip current risk. Winds will decrease for the weekend as will rain with only a few widely scattered showers and storms as temperatures rise to near 90 degrees.
