These veterans understand what it is to have served in a war and now they are serving fellow veterans in the healing process from the damages of such experience. I have always loved aviation. I was blessed to have served in the AF as an aircraft electrician and then as a civilian in that trade. Flying is such a wonderful way to have freedom away from the daily struggles many of our veterans endure each day. Thanks to these guys for their service while active duty and now serving their fellow veterans. Many prayers for these guys, their families and especially the veterans that are hurting so badly that they solve it by taking their life. Their families are in my prayers as well. The VA needs to be strengthened to help our veterans through their transition back to civilian life. They will always have a military attitude and bearing as it becomes part of anyone that has served. One never stops being part of that life.
