JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Most temperatures Wednesday morning hovered a couple degrees above all-time records. Thirties spreak across the entire area, including the beaches. Wind chills even fell into the 20s in spots.
A freeze warning greeted First Coast folks headed outdoors expecting mild spring temps. Average high is 76 degrees in Jacksonville. We're nowwhere close with highs around 60 degrees.
Inland frost is possible AGAIN Thursday morning as the cold grip is slow to let loose. The First Alert Forecast for Jacksonville is 35 degrees.
A gradual warming trend continues through the weekend; so much so, that highs will be above average (and pushing 80 degrees!) by Sunday and Monday.
