JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are searching for the driver who hit a man trying to cross Lem Turner Road earlier this month.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, 54-year-old Gregory Brunson was hit near Ashton Street just before 9 p.m. Friday, November 2. That vehicle then left the scene.
Brunson was taken to Shands with life-threatening injuries. Brunson died Friday, November 23, from his injuries.
Police are searching for an older, white 4-door vehicle that likely has front end damage.
