Hollywood hacker sentenced to prison
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The local man who admitted to hacking into the email accounts of several Hollywood A-list actresses has been sentenced to ten years in prison.
Christopher Chaney could've faced more than a hundred years in prison after pleading guilty in March to nine counts related to hacking, including wiretapping and unauthorized access to a computer.
The actresses include Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis and Christina Aguilera. Johansson's nude photos ended up on the internet.
Attorney's will decide in 20 days where Chaney will spend his time in prison.
A request has been made for Chaney to serve time in Florida, but he could also be imprisoned in California.
Until then, Chaney will be held in jail in Los Angeles.
