BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- Authorities captured two suspects in a home invasion shooting in Brunswick.

The incident started at a home on Godley Road, just north of Brunswick.  A woman told police she came home to find two men in her home around 11:45 a.m.

One of the intruders shot her in the face.  She ran to a neighbor's home where she called 911.

The woman told police two or possibly three people drove off in a black Jeep.

Authorities located the Jeep, but the driver sped off on a 25-mile chase that reached speeds up to 100 miles-per-hour.

The driver of the Jeep sped over the Sidney Lanier Bridge, only to have its tires taken out by a set of stop-sticks at the base of the bridge.

The Jeep landed in some bushes.  Two men jumped out and started running through the marsh.

Police caught one suspect just after 12:20 p.m.  Authorities captured the second suspect shortly after 4 p.m.

One of the suspects told police there were three people involved in the home invasion, but the other suspect said there were only two.  Crews are searching the area just to make sure.

All lanes over the Sidney Lanier Bridge are open.
