JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Heartland Hospice is bringing a screening of the movie "Honor Flight" to Jacksonville.
The movie recalls the lives of veterans and compelling stories from WWII.
This is the first time the movie will be shown Jacksonville. The film was made to honor World War II veterans."You have to bring the movie to your city," said Marisol Riddell, the volunteer coordinator of Heartland Hospice. "It’s not like ‘Iron Man’ or ‘Die Hard.'"
The screening will help kick off the Memorial Day holiday.
The movie will be shown Thursday, May 23, at 7 p.m. at Firefighter Hall, located at 618 Stockton Street.
