JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for a robbery suspect who hit two area hotels in just 30 minutes.

The first armed robbery happened Monday afternoon at the Extended Stay Hotel on Prudential Drive. Soon after, police believe the same man robbed the Super 8 Motel on Kings Avenue, about a mile away.

Police say the suspect distracted the clerk with questions about rooms before pulling out a gun.

Call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS if you recognize the man in the surveillance photo. You could receive a cash reward of up to $1,000 if your information leads to an arrest.

that's a good picture of the criminal. now he should be caught and maxxed out. i don't care what race he is. LOCK THEM ALL UP. these kind of people don't belong in society. remove them for as long as the law allows. dragster1.

@mlombar17 - You may automatically assign racist undertones to Flatts comments, but it isn't necessarily true. If they do catch this guy, the description Flatts gave will most likely fit reality. Sometimes the truth really does hurt. It doesn't make it wrong to state it. And playing the race card, which has worked in the past, is starting to loose its impact thankfully.
