Hotel fire deliberately set

FOLKSTON, Ga. -- Investigators say someone deliberately set a fire at a hotel in Folkston.

The fire happened Thursday night at the Relax Inn off U.S. 1.

No one was hurt. The fire destroyed or damaged more than a dozen rooms at the hotel.

Fire investigators determined the fire started in an empty room of the building used for storage.

If you have any information about the fire, call the Arson Hotline at 1-800-282-5804. You will remain anonymous and could receive a reward of up to $10,000 if your tip leads to an arrest and conviction of the arsonist. First-degree arson is a felony that carries a prison sentence of up to 20 years, and a fine up to $50,000.
