Injunction extended for teens accused of helping attack classmate
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- An injunction has now been extended for two teens accused of being involved in a fight that left a middle school student severely injured.
The teens are accused of helping lure and video tape a fellow Oceanway Middle School classmate. The victim's lawyer, John Philips, says the teens recorded the fight on a cell phone, then uploaded it to sites like YouTube and Facebook. He says the fight, which allegedly happened last month outside of the school left his client unconscious with a fractured scull. Philips says a passerby called the teens mother and called for help.
A third teen is accused of being the one that actually hit the victim. A judge has ordered the teen to stay out of the Duval County School System for two years.
