DELTONA, Fla. -- A frantic search is underway in several surrounding counties, for the bodies of missing mother, Yessenia Suarez and her two children.
Late Thursday night, a number of family members could be seen consoling each other as they watch police go in and out of the home.
Action News spoke with a few of them off camera. They tell us police are keeping them in the loop.
They also say Suarez' husband, 31-year-old Luis Toledo, is cooperating with investigators, but they say he won't tell them where the bodies are.
Action News has learned that investigators were combing Dumpsters in Sanford and following up on other leads. Suarez and her two children, Thalia and Michael Otto, haven't been seen since Tuesday night, hours after Suarez and her husband got into a fight at her job where he reportedly slapped her. He was arrested Wednesday on battery charges.
Those are the only charges Toledo is facing right now, but he is still behind bars in the Volusia County jail.
