JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One of Jacksonville's homegrown breweries says it will no longer host events of any size in its open-air brewery area.

In a post on its Facebook page, Intuition Aleworks says it has been fined and frequently visited by JSO because of noise violations.

Intuition says it uses that space for community events and charity gatherings, and has donated more than 80-thousand dollars in cash, beer, and merchandise to nearly 100 local charities.

Intuition's indoor bar area will remain open and the brewery says it hopes to move soon. "But on the bright side, our district councilman Warren Jones understands the challenges we have faced and supports us in moving to a new location where we will be able to operate our business to its fullest potential," according to a post on the brewery's Facebook page.
