JAXUSA says recession is over with new jobs on horizon

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Florida is getting back to work.

New numbers from JAXUSA, a group comprised of the Jax Chamber and its partners, says it has plans for more than 2,600 new jobs this year.

That's more new jobs over a six month span since 2006, just before the recession, according to the group.

Northrop Grumman and Deutsche Bank are some of the companies doing the hiring.

JAXUSA says, at this rate, it could have its highest number of new jobs in ten years.
