JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville International Airport will keep its midnight air traffic controllers.

The Jacksonville Business Journal, our news partner, is reporting that the FAA won't try to eliminate that shift for right now.

It was on the list for closures after automatic budget cuts set in. A JIA spokesman said it wouldn't have had much of an impact because few flights come in or fly out during that shift.
