JSO: Man accused of holding woman, child hostage now in custody

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The man police said held a mother and her 4-year-old daughter hostage in their Northwest Jacksonville home is in custody.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Richard Lee Johnson was found by the Criminal Apprehension Unit.

Police said he is being interviewed by investigators before he is booked into jail.

He faces charges of Violation of Injunction for Protection, False Imprisonment and two counts of Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon. He will be held without bond.
