JSO arrests man wanted in stabbing
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit was called to the scene of a stabbing Saturday morning.
Police were called to a home on W. 35th Street after reports of a stabbing at 7:20 a.m.
Police say 26-year-old Alfred Johnson got into a confrontation with his grandfather and stabbed him at least once before beating him.
Police tell Action News the victim, 55-year-old Reginald Adams, was transported to U.F. & Shands Hospital in Jacksonville in life-threatening condition.
Investigators say the stabbing suspect also stole Adams's car, a 2000 silver Buick LeSabre displaying Florida tag B157QS. He then fled the scene.
Police located Johnson early Saturday evening and arrested him.
