Now, wait a moment before we start crying "ABUSE!" When me and my brother were this boy's age, all we would do was run around outside and get scratched, scarred, and bruised from climbing trees, falling down on the playground, and just being little kids. To this day my brother has a scar on the back of his head from where he fell out of a tree at age 6, and I have a scar on my chin from climbing stairs too fast at the age of 6. It could very well be that this little boy got it in his head that he didn't like eating his vegetables or something and decided he was gonna run away. Kids try to act bigger than they really are, and this does happen sometimes. It's unfortunate, but with stories of kids calling 911 because they were unhappy with a rule it's not really all that surprising. Thank God this child was found, but think before you cry "ABUSE!" To look at me and my brother at that age, people might have thought that we were abused as well which was simply not the case. We were just kids acting like kids, and have the scars from childhood to prove that we had a fun childhood.

WHERE was this boys mother? Looking at the scar on his eyebrow, I think DFCS should take a LONG HARD LOOK at what this child might be like at home...possible abuse? Why would he just take off like that? PLEASE somebody look into this...this story could have had a sad ending if he fell into the hands of all the pedophytes and sex offenders that was recently released. So glad he was found safe.
