JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says they are looking for the suspect who shot four people at the Eureka Gardens Apartments early Saturday.

Detectives from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Aggravated Battery Unit were called to 1214 Labelle Street around 2 a.m. after receiving reports about a shooting.

Police say when they arrived on scene they saw Nicholas Bostic, 20, of Jacksonville, laying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his thigh.

Minutes later police responded to a Sunoco station at the intersection of Hollycrest Drive and Cassat Avenue where they found another shooting victim. Steven Mintz, 23, of Jacksonville was found with a gunshot wound in his leg.

A third victim was found after police received another call about a gunshot victim walking around the back of the apartment complex banging on doors. That victim,  22-year-old Ernest Alexander, was found in the back of Eureka Gardens with a gunshot wound to the side of his head.

Police later learned about a fourth victim after 26-year-old Dequan White showed up at St. Vincent's Hospital with a gunshot wound in his leg.

According to JSO, the other three victims were taken to U.F. & Shands Hospital Jacksonville with serious injuries.

Police have not released information about the suspect involved or motive for the shootings.

I agree, but the only problem with that is that they'd probably end up moving into your, or my backyard…At least we know where they are right now. It's to bad that their 'community' can't take some kind of control. Their 'culture' needs to change.

Why is this cesspool(that has more problems than down-town Baghdad)still on a map? The place should have been bulldozed years ago to get rid of the crime element.
