JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A JSO officer is recovering from his injuries after his cruiser flipped on the Southside.
The officer was orginally responding to a robbery call, but the callout was cancelled. The officer then turned onto the offramp from JTB to Southside Boulevard.
Investigators say that's when the cruiser flipped at least once and landed on its side in the grass.
The officer was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries.
Investigators say wet roadways may have been a factor in the crash.
