JTA Trolley Service Changes

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Transportation Authority has announced changes to the route and hours for the Bay Street Trolley.

Beginning Monday, June 18 the Bay Street Trolley will begin running on modified service hours. Those hours are Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. - 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. with trolleys operating once every 10 minutes.

Also starting Monday, the Bay Street Trolley midday service will not be available between the Courthouse Annex Building and the St. Andrews park-n-ride lot.

Service is available via the Riverside/Downtown Trolley between the Courthouse Annex Building west to the Jacksonville Landing, new Courthouse, St. James and Godbold Buildings and Hemming Plaza.

The Skyway/Riverside Trolley is also offering several options for customers commuting between the Convention Center and the Courthouse Annex Building. Those options include: Customers commuting between the Convention Center Skyway Station and the Courthouse Annex may use the Skyway System, free of charge to the Central Skyway Station, then walk one block north to the intersection of Forsyth and Laura Streets for a five minute ride on the Riverside/Downtown Trolley to the Courthouse Annex Complex.

On the return trip customers would ride the Riverside/Downtown Trolley from the Bay and Liberty Street bus shelter to Bay and Pearl Streets, connecting to the Skyway System at Central Station for the return trip to the Convention Center Station.
