This year's fair has everything you would expect: the rides, the entertainment and all the food you could ever eat. But with this being an election year, it also has the battle of the barn.
"We decided since it was an election year, we'd have our own campaign," Gayle Hart, vice-president of marketing, said. "You can vote for either Chloe the Cow or Pinky the Pig."
And the campaign trail has been tough.
"There's been a lot of 'mudslinging,' and it's been 'udderly' brutal," she laughed.
You can fill out your ballot for Chloe or Pinky at the Exhibition Hall and early voting is encouraged.
The fair opens tonight and lasts until Nov. 11. And if you decide to come tonight, you're going to get a discount.
"Three dollar entrance fee and $3 rides or a $15 wristband," Gayle said. Most days are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and kids and wristbands are $20-$25.
Tonight kids under 12 are encouraged to wear costumes and have a safe, fun trick-or-treat experience at the fairgrounds.
