JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville University is introducing the school's next president. Tim Cost, a JU alumnus, was chosen over 80 other candidates to lead the school.
Cost has several decades worth of experience in top-level corporate positions, most recently with PepsiCo. A JU Trustee since 2009, he has chaired JU committees on enrollment and retention, and development. In addition to his PepsiCo background, he has more than 30 years of senior executive experience at top companies like Bristol-Myers Squibb, Kodak, ARAMARK and Wyeth.
Cost will take over for current JU President Kerry Romesburg on July 1, 2013. Romesburg is retiring after a 45-year higher-education career.
