JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville-based company is credited with helping to right the Costa Concordia in Italy.
Mark Miller, director of Corporate Communications for Crowley Maritime Corp tells Action News that the company's subsidiary Titan Salvage did the parbuckling salvage.
Miller said it was "quite a special moment for a lot of folks around here."
The cruise ship ran aground and capsized off Tuscany last year. The ship is completely upright after a 19-hour operation to pull it from its side. It will now be towed away for scrap metal.
